Accepted? Now What?

Here is a quick reference guide for newly accepted graduate students into Pfeiffer University


My.Pfeiffer is a university web portal for students, faculty, advisors and administration allowing access to the university student information system and other campus resources including your admissions status, financial aid status, and billing information. You can also register for classes:
username: Student ID Number (included in your admissions letter)
password: assigned in your admissions letter

Student Email

All Pfeiffer students are assigned a University email account and are required to use it for official correspondence. The naming standard for student email addresses is first initial + middle initial (if available) + last name + last three digits of student ID For example, John P. Doe with student id 10123 would be

Pfeiffer uses Blackboard for its online learning system. It is used for both online and in-class courses, so you need to know how to login:
username: Student ID Number (included in your admissions letter)
password: Your My.Pfeiffer password (included in your admissions letter)

Academic Advising

Each student has a Program Director and program-assigned faculty advisor who can help with issues related to program requirements and registration.


Registration is available online through My.Pfeiffer. Registration questions can be directed to Associate Registrar Mr. Rick Kivior at or (704)945-7316.

Tuition/Payment Options

Tuition and fees are due on or before the first day of the semester. Pay online at or contact Ramanda Medlin, Charlotte Business Office Associate, at or (704) 945-7355.

Financial Aid

FAFSA-Direct Loans to support graduate education are processed through the Financial Aid Office.

Student Orientation

We require all students attend an orientation session before they begin class.
